Hands, being held. A smile. An embrace. The limits of what photography can capture when it comes to emotion are limitless. To me, photography is motion stilled. The work I do takes pictures of action while it is happening, providing a freeze-frame image that preserves and protects the identity of a specific point in time.
I work with people. My material is the raw material that’s found in the everyday. Getting the right image depends on you being comfortable, acting openly and organically in the presence of the camera. Since 2009 I’ve documented events professionally, creating images that authentically recall how an instant felt. I’m experienced, professional and accomplished, coming at photography from an angle which appreciates the opportunity to capture the art and act of living in style.

To me, the beauty of an image is in the way it slows-down real-time. Too often, in the moment, we’re wrapped up in what’s happening, so much so that we’re unable to step back and take it in. Having photographs you can look back on enable you to process the occasion in hindsight, fully understanding the opportunity granted to you and realising how special, affirming and precious it is.
Photography is all about seeing. To take pictures that reflect and tell the truth of an occasion, you need to distance yourself away from the occasion itself. I aim to take candid photographs that reflect a point in time naturally, showing the emotional context within it. My style of shooting is relaxed, subject to the possibility to take photographs that show interaction, intimacy and the natural flow of living.
I aim to put every situation at ease, slipping into the natural way of things to capture the true essence of them. I’m willing to travel, covering the area to get to your occasion.
